C. My Dear Mr. President: I have always been a proud American and a proud Southerner. The successful orbiting of Col. John Glenn causes this great pride to be even greater. However, I am somewhat disturbed at the obvious discrimination as Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces that you have shown towards the American Negro. Why isn't there a Negro Astronaut?
