RE: The Endangered Rainforests of Brazil
Dear Mr. President:
More and more I read about the plight of the Earth's
fragile eco-structure and especially the destruction
of our irreplaceable rainforests.
We are all aware of the vital role these forests play
in our delicate environment; however, our short-term
capitalistic mind sight is not giving consideration to
the disasterous long-term effects.
During the negotiations of the World Bank's proposed
$700,000,000 series of loans to Brazil say "NO" to the
projects these loans fund that further destroy the
rainforests.
Our world depends on your actions and depends on you
to make the right decisions.
Respectfully, ... a concerned capitalist.
