7/20 THE PRESIDENT HAS SEEN RICHARD NIXON July 1, 1993 577 CHESTNUT RIDGE ROAD WOODCLIFF LAKE, NEW JERSEY To the White House staff, I want you to know how much I appreciated the beautiful flowers you sent for Mrs. Nixon. She would have been very proud that you remembered her so thoughtfully and that makes me doubly proud. For the past fifty-three years I have usually finished personal letters with the phrase, "Pat joins me in expressing our appreciation and sending our best wishes." I can't say that now in a physical sense, but there is no question that in a spiritual sense she joins me in saying that to you today. Sincerely, Paint 20 The White House Staff 8 Nancy Merarrich 028351
