Dear Sir, The greatest service you can render your government is to refuse the third term nomination for the Presidency. It takes a great deal of ego indeed to arrive at the conclusion you are most fitted for that job. Your eight year record of Hitler power politics has just about ruined this country. You are the last human in this nation who should be elected to a third term. It is your type that George Washington had in mind when he set the base for all future presidents to refuse it. I shall devote the last ounce of my energy and my full time to see that you and your fellow bureau- crats are defeated at the coming election.
