your U.S. CITIZEN ABROAD P-839 (a) (c) 15 Jutland Ple. Dalkeith, W.A. Australia Australia, 6009 Dec. 22, 1972 Dear mr nixon, you're probably wondering why I'm writing. well you see I'm trying to get a collection of letters from Presidents. I already have a letter from mr Johnson. l am an american and am 13 years old. my father was transferred to australia for eighteen months so we will be head- ing back to the us in august 1973. The Australians really like to know what's happening in the United States, especially during the election, in fact this little old lady came up to my mom and asked her who she was going to bote for. australians show great intrest in the moon project, l was scorprized at all the films of the men on the moon they hadhere. During the U.S. presidential campaign, an Australian girl in my older sisters class made the comment about how nice it would be if President nixon would be the Prime minister of Australia. Sincerely yours, Vikki Lindsey Reproduced at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum
