Dear Mr. President: Perhaps you may remember me as visiting with you in the Vice Pres- idential Suite of the Senate Building sometime back along with Mr. Arthur Goldberg and other labor leaders when you were the Vice President. I arrived early and you were extremely courteous in showing me some of the gifts from dignitaries in other lands which were kept in the Suite. I felt extremely elated recently in your message to the people of the United States that you would seek an appropriation of some 300 million dollars for the purpose of finding a cure for cancer. Along with Dr. Ivy and Dr. Durovic, I worked faithfully and diligently for a fair test for Krebiozen by our government. As you know, many United States senators joined with us since every effort to have a test of this controversial drug made by the government to find out its worth had failed. I met dozens of cancer victims who under proper treatment with Krebiozen were cured. Others, not cured, were relieved of the pain attendant to cancer. You would be endeared to the hearts of thousands upon thousands of can- cer victims in the United States and all over the world, Mr. President, by adding to your statement about the 300 million for a cancer cure that you would also see that all worthy, and even controversial drugs, like Krebiozen, would get a fair government test.
