Dear Mrs. Nixon,
Students in the Vacation Church School of our First Bap-
tist Church here in Clinton this year voted to send the total
offering from our two-week school, thirty-five dollars and thirty-
five cents, to aid Peruvian earthquake victims. Since you have
been there and have seen at first hand relief measures in pro-
gress, we know you would be better fitted than any other person
in our country to advise us where and how to send our contribution.
We would be indebted to you if you would use the enclosed self-
addressed stamped envelope to tellus whether we should send our
gift by check or money order and to whom we should send it. Our
contribution is not large but it represents the concern of seventy
children ages three through eleven and we would like it to do good
to the greatest possible extent.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated help.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Harold
