Dear Sir:
After reading of the continued horrible atrocities
in Germany, I attended Friday night services at one
of the local Temples, and following these services
I approached the Rabbi and asked him whether he did
not believe that God had forsaken us. The Rabbi's
reply carried some doubt; he admitted that it
appeared so.
However, on the evening of November 14th, after hear-
ing your marvelous talk over the air, I felt that my
question to the Rabbi had really been answered, and
that God had not forsaken us, for did He not place
upon this earth a man of your character?
I consider it a privilege to have been fortunate
enough to hear the message that was broadcast by you
to the waiting world, and I want to thank you from
the bottom of my heart for your honest expressions
of tolerance and understanding.
Most sincerely,
Samuel Bischoff
