The Honorable Herbert Hoover,
The White House,
Washington, D. C.
Dear Mr. President:
Mrs. Bertron and I were delighted with the
charming address you delivered in reference to the
Boy Scouts. I have never heard a more delightful,
brief, pithy speech made by anyone and it will do a
lot of good.
There are a lot of "boys" on Capitol Hill
who could greatly profit by some similar straight
talk from some source. There are many friends of
the Administration who would be very grateful if
some straight-from-the-shoulder sound advice could
be given to our Legislators before it is too late.
Please, Mr. President, do not consider this
as advice on my part - it is merely the reflection of
a sentiment which is very prevalent.
Trusting this finds you in good health,
please believe me
Very faithfully yours,
BRBentron
