On behalf of President Ford, I would like to thank
you for your letter and Bicentennial suggestions.
They were very well received.
The American Revolution Bicentennial Administration,
2401 E Street, NW., Washington, D.C. 20276 is the
agency which was established by an Act of Congress
to be responsible for coordination of all Bicentennial
programs and activities nationwide. I have, there-
fore, taken the liberty of sharing a copy of your
correspondence with them for further response.
The President greatly appreciates the efforts of so
many indiviđuals and groups who are working to make
our nation's 200th anniversary a memorable occasion.
He asked that I send to you the enclosed message.

Let's make this Fourth of July one of the
greatest days in america's history. I would
the world their american patriotism. Especial-
love to see everybody display before man and
by those who have the roots of the american
bream deeply implanted within their hearts.
Let this also apply to the coming years.
Wouldn't ih be great, if we could hear the
Bell World? of Liberty ring out again all over the
Wouldn't in be great, if we could see Mother
L iberty's torch in new york Harbor shine
brighter than before?
Wouldn't it be great, if everybody would going
together and sing our national anthem from
shore to shore?
Wouldn't in be great, if we could keep the
peace within our nation and know there would
be everlasting peace throughout the world ?
