Urge my community to stagger traffic lights on main streets, linking one county, (city, or state) to another. And shorten length of unnecessarily long red lights throughout. 3. I will urge Pres. Ford to keep Daylight Saving Time in effect ! (Let children start school 1 hour later in winter months --with a time change that's what they'd do anyway. ) 4. I will eliminate unnecessary car trips. And keep to minimum speed allowed. 5. I'll never idle my car motor unnecessarily. 6. Program my T.V. watching & watch less T.V. 7. I'll use cold water whenever possible. 8. I'll take Marine' showers only! Ie: wet down, soap up, & rinse off. 9. Put in a voluntary 15 min. overtime on my job. Yellow Pages 10. Urge my union not to ask for a raise. Dear Pres.
