Dear President Ford,
For sometime I have listened to Governor Carter, his campaign manager and
others speak on the subject of Watergate. I'm sure that I
speak for the United States when I say "Watergate is over and its time we
start restoring faith in the democracy that we fought so hard to
obtain."
When a skelton is constantly brought out and shown before the people
it once again bring's the remembrace up again that we 've tried to
place behind us.
We the people of the United States have so much to be thankful for.
In this Bicentennial Year can't we do anything to bury this skelton.
I have a suggestion that may seem far fetched but it's something
that America needs to see and that's the burial of Watergate.
In this funeral you or a chaplain speak over the casket praying that
with the closing of this casket that Watergate be buried, praying
for the strength of this nation, its people, and it's leaders, and
that this country be given the strength and wisdom to guide those
that we serve and that the people of this nation forget and place the
past behind them, and think only of what the future can bring them
with good leadership and that the people become more responsive in
choosing there leaders by voting for the candiate that they feel

can best serve them to the best of their ability.
Watergate, needs to be buryed forever if it isn't there will always
be doubt in the people's mind that in the halls that
govern them their is corrupation.
Please consider this matter, not only for the people of the
United States but also for the people that look to the United States as
the land of the freee. We must not forget that we have fought to
hard for our Declaration of Indenpendence and Constitution to
let this destroy all that we stnad for.
Looking forward to hearing from you and hope that my suggestion
is one that will be looked on favorable.
Bust wishes for campaign a successful
