My dear Mr. President:
Thank you for your letter of July 11, 1975 concerning the Refugee Resettlement Program.
I am, of course, concerned with the plight of these people who, through necessity, have been uprooted from their homes. Over four hundred Vietnamese have been placed in Alabama under this program to the present time. We will continue to work with organizations and individuals in an effort to place as many refugees as we can.
Your efforts in bringing this program to my attention are appreciated.

Very respectfully yours,
