Washington, D.C. con Dear Mister President: A Today I listened to your address before Congress. Of late I have been very much prosed to peace time military training, - because of what war-time training and service did for many of our country's morally best young men - trained them to smoke and drink. I was pleased to note that twice in your address you referred to morality. And unless you can assure the christian fathers and mothers that their sons will be protected from drink and kindred evils during military training they must vigorously oppose it.
