THE PRESIDENT December 29, 1992 Dear Chuck, Thanks for your letter of December 22. Barbara and I are looking forward to moving back to Houston in just a few weeks now. I'm excited about my Library at Texas A&M and appreciate your wonderful offer to stay at your house. It will be a few years until we even begin construction -- we're still very much in the planning stages. Chuck, you know how much I respect your Foundation and the great things you do for children. However, I'm very unclear as to what the future holds, so I cannot commit to anything right now. I hope you understand. With warm regards, Sincerely, GBl Ca Bl THE WHITE HOUSE Mr. Chuck Norris Chairman Kick Drugs Out of America Suite 105 3050 "K" Street, N.W. "Red" Duke, Jr. Pam Duke Dear Mr. President and Mrs. Bush, The Honorable Phil Gramm U.S. Senator, TX Bud Hadfield I just returned from Israel last night and want to wish you and all of the Jim "Mack" Mcingvale Bushes a wonderful Christmas. You and Mrs. Bush have been on my mind a lot Linda Mcingvale Robert L. Moody, Sr. lately and I have to admit that I just feel very disappointed in the American people. However, I am happy that you can now enjoy a bit more of a relaxed lifestyle!! As you might remember, I bought a ranch in Navasota which is quite close to Texas A & M. Since that is where your library will be and you will probably be spending some time up there, I hope that you and Mrs. Bush will let me show you around my new home. I think you will like it, and if you ever need a place to stay up there, my house is yours! I will be spending almost all of my time in Texas starting in February, not only working on the Foundation, but I will begin filming a new TV series in Dallas. I would like to invite you and Mrs. Bush to become more involved with our Foundation if you are interested. I know that you will be very busy when you move back to Houston, so I certainly would not ask for much of your time. Rather, I would be most appreciative if you could help introduce me to some of Houston's business leaders. It seems whenever Lloyd and I have the chance to visit with the heads of companies or foundations, they become supporters. Unfortunately, it has been a bit difficult not having someone who can call and help get us in the door with some of these folks. I look forward to hopefully getting to see more of you in Texas. I consider you and your family the best role models our children could ever have and our "Karate Kids" are honored to have your help and support. Please know that you can reach me anytime either through my office in California at (818)705-2599 or my ranch in Navasota (409)825-8661. Fondly, Chuck Chuck Norris 3050 K Street, N.W.
