Dear Mr. President:
The Board of Directors of Operation PUSH and its Chairman
Mayor Richard Gordon Hatcher invite you to address the Ninth
Annual PUSH Convention, July 15th in New Orleans, Louisiana
at the Superdome.
This is the occasion of our mass community meeting. It is
a festival occasion in which several of our artists and
entertainers will participate and uplift our people spiritually
preceding a platform for which we will project the ideas and
issues of our Convention.
Your presence at the Convention would further evidence your
concern for the oppressed of our nation.
I will enclose appropriate Convention material for you and your
staff. I hope to receive a favorable response soon,
and freedom,
Jene Jackson
