With your busy schedule, I do not see how you found time; however, you are such a wonderful person that you always find time to do things to make other people happy. It was a pleasure to see you, and I want to thank you for making us feel welcome. We here in Georgia are very proud of you and the President, and appreciate all the good work you are doing for our country and other countries. Do let us know whenever you are coming to Georgia for a little while and please try to schedule a visit to Berry. We have a pleasant guest cottage and would see that you could be as comfortable there as you would be at home. It was a genuine thrill when in Washington on Sunday, to see you, the President, and Amy in church. I thoroughly enjoyed the service and do not think I have ever visited a friendlier church anywhere. It is a beautiful church and I know that you enjoy the worship services. Thank you again for your warm greeting. All of our group commented on how much you and the President are doing for so many. It amazes me when I see that the busiest people in the world can always do one more thing. This is certainly true of you and the President. I want you to know that LaBelle Lance also welcomed us warmly to The White House. We enjoyed seeing her very much. It was a genuine thrill to hear Burt Lance's interesting and challenging speech on Monday evening when he spoke to the Georgia Delegates at the Banquet. I believe we must have had about 900 there from Georgia for the Chamber Meeting. This brings you my warm and affectionate regards and every good wish to you and our President and your family. Gratefully yours, Inez W. Henry Inez W. Henry Emerita Assistant to the President IWH:sk INCORPORATED AS THE BERRY SCHOOLS FOUNDED BY MARTHA BERRY IN 1902
