JOHNNY CASH 1 May 31, 1977 Mrs. Rosalynn Carter White House Washington, D. C. Dear Mrs. Carter: June and I would like to thank you for going to Jamaica. For the past four years we've had a home there where we spend as much time as possible getting away from it all. Therefore, the problems and the welfare of that country are, in a way, ours as well. Of course, we're concerned with the political future of Jamaica and we feel that your trip was an important move in strengthening our ties with that country. Thanks again and congratulations on the beautiful image you project. Sincerely, Johnny Cash JC/ig for Electronic RECEIVED JUN 20 1977 SOCIAL FILES
