My Dear Beloved President,- Allow me to congratulate you for your magnificent afdress at Velley Forge, Penna. I heard you over the Radio. My wife is a member of the Valley Forge Ch.D.A.R. And she is from Quaker stock too. I am so proud of you as my president, because you understand the American People their needs--etc. Iam proud of your sentiments and the fine way in which you express them. I have reasons for my pride-because eleven of my ancestors perished in the War of the Revolution and the Civil strife of slavery. One of my ancestors walked in rags and hunger over the very ground where you delivered your famous address today. aud kneft his too!
