Dear Mr. Truman: It is with great disappointment that we read about your vetoing the eighty-eight million dollar Indian Rehabilitation bill. I feel as many of my friends do, that the greatest need for rehabilitation is with our own Indian folk. When we see the bills for help and aid to foreign countries pass through our Congress with your signa- ture with very little reservation or hesitation, we feel that it is a sad mistake to neglect our own people here in America. Feel assured that you have our heartiest support in your program.
