Children’s Letter from Paul Borik to President Gerald R. Ford Regarding Raising Money to Help the Poor and Inflation

Paul Brik 2 1818.5. Desplaines 3 Chicago all 60616 Dear President Ford For the last four mounths our school, Providence of God is trying to raise money for the people that are pon like right now, were having a raffle to raise money for the poor and the people that get laid off of work. We're getting aluminum cans and our hot lunch trays and covers and we give it all to the Reynolds Wrap Co. On return we get fifteen cent for one Lb. 2 just want to ask you one fover, and that one fovor is to lower the prices of everything just a little would you do it. please?. we have enough problems trying to vaise money for the poor it's bad enough that everthings to high so would you lower the prices just a little please?.
