Ford President of the United States The White House Washington, D.C. 20500 Dear Mr. President: It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to you in behalf of the Seattle Chapter of the Japanese American Citizens League and for all the Japanese Americans residing in the Greater Seattle area. We wish to express our sincere thanks and gratitude for your Proclamation of February 19, 1976, which formally termi- nated Executive Order No. 9066. With fervent prayer, we hope that no such executive order or any congressional acts will ever be enacted in the future which will perpetrate and deny the constitutional rights and due process of law to anyone or to any group of people in this great country of ours.
