I think the issue of not attending because of the issue of human rights abuse is a smokescreen. I think it is possible to stand up for human rights in the very places where they are being violated. In fact, where better to discuss the issues of women than in those very locations. And that includes the US. Please go. You are such and admired and powerful symbol for women. We need you there.
