Paula Broglio 11012 Cherry Hill Road Adelphi, Maryland 20783 October 26, 1996 Dear Mrs. Clinton, I want to thank you for listening to my suggestions regarding quality, affordable child care when you visited the University of Maryland two years ago this month. The conversation with you changed my life. As you know I've been writing to you for the last two years through Melanne with updates on the progress of child care for working parents. I've always been interested in politics, but never thought I'd ever be invited to the White House or Senate, or to speak on a live political TV show like, "America's Voice". I want to thank for opening the door for me with your encouragement. I'm still a secretary at the University of Maryland and still have to live at home with my parents because I can't afford to live on my own and support my six-year-old son, Vincent.
